Our Story
Evergreen Christian Montessori Preschool was founded in 2001 with a simple but powerful vision: to create a place where young children could learn in an environment rooted in faith, respect, and genuine love for learning.
For over 25 years, we have welcomed families from across Federal Way and the surrounding South King County area, building a diverse and warm community where every child is known by name and celebrated for who they are.
Our Mission
To provide a nurturing Christian environment where children ages 2½–6 develop a love of learning, a sense of wonder, and a strong character foundation through the Montessori method — guided by faith, love, and respect for each child's unique potential.
Our Montessori Approch
In a Montessori classroom, children are not passive recipients of instruction — they are active, engaged learners. Our carefully prepared environment is filled with beautiful, hands-on materials that invite children to explore, discover, and develop mastery at their own pace.

Children work independently and in small groups, developing concentration, self-discipline, and intrinsic motivation that will serve them throughout their lives. Mixed-age groupings allow older children to mentor younger ones — a hallmark of the Montessori approach.
